Janis Goodman – Printmaker

It being my birthday recently – I was lucky enough to be taken over to Leeds to the home of printmaker janis Goodman. A delightfully cheerful host, she showed us around her studio and press, we saw work in progress and I was able to view her personal framed selection of prints and choose one to take home. The choice was not an easy one as I could have taken any of them! here are a selection from the Masham Gallerysite where I first saw her work (and bought a couple then too!).

Banditry

Way Down

Wren with quince blossom

Bracken Edge

..and here is the one I chose..

Tamarisk Tree

Janis is currently involved in the Saltaire Arts Trail. but can be found on her own website. Take a look and see what you fancy, all her work is delightful I think.
